Private medical insurance can vary wildly in the level of cover provided, although most health insurance plans do not cover routine dental treatment there are a number of insurers who provide you the option to bolt on routine dental treatment as a form of cash plan.
With the dental cash plan option where available is likely to cover you for up to £200 of routine dental treatment per annum and a larger sum for a level of emergency treatment. Please note that often the dental cash plan bolt on options have their own separate excess.
