Test Engineer

Location: Central London or remote worker – either will be considered for the right candidate

We require a testing engineer capable of creating automation and manual tests based on requirements. The candidate will also discover how our applications function, looking for potential scenarios taking into account multiple user interactions.

The engineer will have Selenium and a programming framework experience (Java, Node, Behat etc) and be capable of ultimately delivery-testing scripts to fully analyse our services across a number of platforms/devices.

The candidate will be working with our developers, participating in our development/deployment sprints.

As well as taking part in our development lifecycle, you will be required to write a number of tests for existing functionality, creating an automated system capable of notifying us when a problem occurs long before any users are affected.

You’ll join Drewberry’s team of independent advisers providing business protection insurance advice to companies throughout the UK.

The role will involve ongoing training and development and you’ll be required to maintain an excellent standard of customer service, manage and prioritise your own workload and continually meet your personal lines sales target.

A self-motivated and sales-oriented salesperson, you’ll have excellent telephone communication skills and be able to communicate with clients professionally and knowledgeably via email and phone. Good numeracy and literacy skills are important and you’ll also have a willingness to learn and develop in the role.

Job Description

You’ll be providing support to new business consultants helping ensure the client journey is as smooth as possible.

The role will involve liaising with clients to complete application forms, checking files to ensure new sales are documented correctly and in line with compliance rules, and organising in-progress sales to ensure clients have the best experience possible when choosing Drewberry for the financial needs.

Skills Required

You’ll need to be computer literate and have excellent organisational skills. Previous administrative experience is a must and you’ll be able to offer good communication and a professional manner on the phone at all times.
