A recent study by LV has shown that for many of Britain’s retirees the first 5 glorious years of retirement might not always be so glorious.
The research showed that for many of those retirees they were unexpected life changes which either put a strain on their health or their finances.
A quarter of those questioned stated their health had worsened or they had suffered a serious health problem in the first 5 years of their retirement. There were many put under financial strain to with 17% saying they had unexpectedly had to dig deep to support family members financially.
More uplifting news, of the retirees 34% celebrated a grandchild being born within the first five years of retirement whilst a further 20% updated or renovated their existing property or garden.

Whatever your budget with such a broad range of products on the market there will be something available which fits your needs. From a very basic plan which covers inpatient treatment only to a comprehensive policy which would cover all inpatient and outpatient treatment in full.
Should you be looking to take out a health insurance plan for retirees or review an existing policy we are here to help, our aim is to make insurance simple and affordable.
