How Will Life Insurance Companies Treat Cancer?
Getting Life Insurance after you’ve had cancer could be tricky but may be possible depending on a number of factors, such as what type of cancer you had and how long ago it was since you were discharged from care.
Depending on the type of cancer, Life Insurance might be available for a relatively short period of time after the all clear. However, for other types of cancer Life Insurance companies generally require a period of at least five years cancer free.
It is really a case of collecting all the facts and then checking with the underwriters as various insurers to see if cover and be offered and, if so at what premium level.
