Richard is a core member of our Employee Benefits team. In his role, it is key to understand that all businesses have different requirements when it comes to looking after their staff.

With the right guidance, he hopes to ensure that your business has the correct employee benefits and protection package in place to generate a high retention rate of key members within your company.

Honesty is the best policy when it comes to filling out applications. What you don't mention at the start might come back to bite you later on, so don't leave out any information that might be important.

Richard has worked in the pensions landscape for over 20 years. He started in an administration role, before becoming a team coach which resulted in him travelling to Mumbai, India amongst other places.

He then joined a boutique Employee Benefits firm around 12 years ago, helping the business grow from a handful of clients to c250. After that period, Richard moved to Gallagher Employee Benefits as a consultant, heading up their SME pensions team. And more recently, Richard has worked on risk and health care products, leading him to join our team at Drewberry in 2023.

When he's not at work, Richard tends to have his hands full with his 16-month old daughter. He loves to watch and play sport (albeit with limited success!), as well as spending precious time with family and friends.
