Darren Jaynes is Head of Digital Protection at Drewberry, where he oversees the day-to-day running of the Personal Protection team, ensuring clients receive high-quality, tailored advice. Alongside his management responsibilities, Darren advises clients directly on income protection, life insurance, critical illness cover, and business protection - helping individuals and businesses identify and put in place the right solutions for their needs.
He holds the R05 Financial Protection qualification, the industry-required certification for providing protection advice.
Darren has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, including just over 4 years in management, and joined Drewberry in April 2023. That breadth of experience means he brings both the technical knowledge and the leadership perspective needed to run a high-performing protection team.
Outside of work, Darren is a husband, father, and proud dog parent. He's a keen follower of football, enjoys watching and playing snooker and darts, and is a passionate traveller - always with the next holiday firmly on the horizon.
