Alex Weir is an Independent Protection Specialist at Drewberry, where he helps both individuals and businesses find the right protection cover. His expertise covers the full range of personal and business protection - from life insurance, income protection, and critical illness cover, to relevant life policies, shareholder protection, and key person insurance. Alex works with clients at every stage of life, from those protecting their family home to senior company directors safeguarding their business.
Alex joined Drewberry in July 2022, bringing with him a background in insurance alongside experience in the public and private hire and chauffeur sector - an industry where understanding risk and responsibility first-hand is part of the job.
He holds the Certificate in Insurance (Cert CII), awarded by the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Outside of work, Alex is a family man - and it's that experience that drives his passion for what he does. Understanding what's at stake if the worst were to happen is exactly what makes him so committed to helping clients protect the people and things that matter most to them.
