Peter's role at Drewberry
Peter's role centres on engaging with new and existing clients. He focuses on providing advice to help every client towards achieving their goals, aspirations and financial independence.
Peter assists in helping clients firstly identify their financial objectives before discussing these with them to get a clear picture of where they want to be with their finances. With all this in mind, he then formulates a plan tailored to each individual client's needs, supported with in-depth research. The final stage is offering his clients recommendations displayed in a clear, concise and easily-digestible format to make sure they stay informed and included throughout the advice process.
Peter holds the Certificate for Financial Advisers (CeFA) from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment as well as the Diploma in Financial Advice (DipFA) and the Award in Pension Transfers (AwPETR) from the London Institute of Banking & Finance, making him a qualified final salary transfer expert.
Who is Peter Banks?
Peter joined Drewberry Wealth Management in November 2016 to provide clients with advice centred around retirement planning, investments and tax planning.
Peter has worked exclusively in financial services since graduating from university in 2005. He has worked his way up through the ranks to his current role as a full financial adviser, starting as an administrator and tackling almost every role in between.
This experience means he has valuable and in-depth knowledge of processes and back office systems, all of which he can now apply to get things done on top of giving great financial advice.
His top tip is to research and buy great quality investments, hold them for a long time to maximise growth and be sure to utilise any available tax free allowances. After all, they're yours to use!
What else does Peter do?
Outside of work, you'll often find Peter socialising with old friends, reading and watching science fiction and whipping up curries. He's also an avid Tottenham Hotspurs supporter. Come on Spurs!
