See how CharlieHR integration works.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Check Your Employee Data<\/h2>\n<p>Before integrating, check your employee data is up to date in CharlieHR.<\/p>\n<p>This includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Employment Start Date<\/li>\n<li>Name<\/li>\n<li>Address<\/li>\n<li>Date of Birth<\/li>\n<li>Gender<\/li>\n<li>Salary<\/li>\n<li>Location\/Site<\/li>\n<li>Employee Type<\/li>\n<li>End Date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you have more niche categories to sync, such as a workplace site\/location, we can limit the data we gather based on these filters.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3260\" data-original=\"https:\/\/www.drewberryinsurance.co.uk\/my\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/People-Sync-Filter-Intro.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1862\" height=\"938\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>How Does CharlieHR Integration Work?<\/h2>\n<p>The integration will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Update any employees who currently exist within data from CharlieHR as per the data fields included above<\/li>\n<li>Add any employees who are in CharlieHR, but not in My.Drewberry based on the People Sync filter in our integration<\/li>\n<li>Move any employees past their end date to the leavers section and trigger the removal of these individuals from their benefits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once you\u2019re up and running, any changes made within CharlieHR override any changes manually made on My.Drewberry.<\/p>\n<h2>New Joiners From CharlieHR<\/h2>\n<p>When configuring your My.Drewberry platform, we select an employee category to enrol employees into the benefits they\u2019re eligible for. This feature is unique to My.Drewberry, which means it\u2019s not set when new joiners get added to the platform via HRIS sync.<\/p>\n<p>After adding a new joiner, you\u2019ll receive a task to add them to the correct employee category in My.Drewberry. Ensure Your People Sync Settings Are Correct<\/h3>\n<p>If there is a specific location or type of employee you want to sync, our People Sync function enables the data to be filtered from CharlieHR. Head To CharlieHR<\/h3>\n<p>Sign into your account and\u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>Confirm Your Employee Data Is Accurate<\/strong><br \/>\nBefore you integrate with My.Drewberry, check the data you wish to sync from CharlieHR is the right information. You can do this within the \u201cIntegration Activity Log\u201d, which is stored in your Company documents folder. This log shows which data is set to sync from CharlieHR based on the settings you saved. Check this log displays the correct data you want to sync.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Find The API Key<\/strong><br \/>\nLog into CharlieHR. Click on \u201cIntegrations\u201d. Then click \u201cAPI Access\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Go to the box on the right titled \u201cYour API Keys\u201d. Follow the instructions provided and generate the keys. This creates the Client ID and Client Secret you need to integrate. Copy this information and keep it safe-you\u2019ll need it next.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3350\" src=\"https:\/\/www.drewberryinsurance.co.uk\/my\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Integration-Gif.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1440\" height=\"753\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>NOTE<\/strong>: The data is provided once, so you need to copy and paste it into another document. Once it\u2019s copied and pasted, the data turns into ****, so you can\u2019t view it again.<\/p>\n<p>You can then head to the My.Drewberry tab to input the Client ID and Client Secret. CharlieHR will become your source of truth for your core employee data.<\/p>\n<p>If you make changes in My.Drewberry to any of the information we sync to our platform, it is overwritten by the data in CharlieHR the next day.<\/p>\n<h2>How To Disable Your Integration<\/h2>\n<p>It\u2019s easy to disable your integration. Go to the integration section in My.Drewberry under \u201cManage Employees\u201d and click \u201cManage\u201d.
